Sponsorships*

Did you know that OMYBS is completely operated and financed by registration fees and donations?
What does it cost? We have four sponsorship levels available. (Please see Sponsorship Information) The packages start at $300 to sponsor a team.
What do they get? Each team sponsor gets a banner on the outfield fence of their age group's field for one full year (Spring and Fall).
Deadline: Sponsorship Info must be submitted by TBD, 2020 to have the banner hung by Opening Day. All other orders must be placed by Opening Day in order to receive a banner.  (Banners will be a generic dark banner with sponsor information.)
Our Goal: Our goal is for each team to raise $1000 in sponsorships. Any team that earns $1000 in sponsorship money will receive a gift card.
Contest: The team that brings in the most sponsorship money (minimum of $1000) will get a Team Party with the Barons (two tickets per family). Contest Deadline is TBD, 2020
Checks should be made payable to OMYBS. To pay by credit card, email [email protected] for payment options. A processing fee will be applied.

Helpful Organization Tips

Snacks
Set up a Snack Schedule (you can organize this through email or the website)

Communication

  • From the Website – You can send emails to your team from the Email Tab on your team page.
  • Texting – Group Me app is a great way to send group texts

Dugout Organization

  • For younger age groups
(ages 4-6), buckets are a great way to keep the dugouts organized! When they are on the field, their helmets and batting gloves are stored in them, and when they come off the field, they can put their gloves in the bucket. (These can be purchased at Old Time Pottery, the Dollar Store, Target, etc)
  • A dry-erase clipboard with the batting order is a great way to help them keep up with when they are up! (These can be purchased at Dick’s and Academy)

Park Rules

  • No Motorized Scooters
  • No Vehicles – there will be a golf cart* for those who need transportation to the back field
  • No riding bikes or scooters in the 5 complex during games (5-8YO fields)
  • Dogs on a leash are welcome, but they are not allowed on the fields
  • If a field is closed, it is closed to ALL ACTIVITIES, including pick-up games, father/son batting practice, running bases, etc.

Lost & Found

  • Game Days: Any found items should be taken to the nearest concession stand. Please post a message on our Facebook page indicating that the item was found and which concession stand you turned it into. Example: “I found a glove today on the 6 year old field. I turned it in to the 5 complex concession stand.”
  • Practices: Turn items in to a coach, and they will put them in the dugout closet. Post a message on Facebook explaining which field you turned it into. Example: “I found a glove today on the 6 year old field. I turned it in to the 7 year old field dugout.”

Golf Cart

For those needing assistance to the back parks, we have a golf cart available. The cart is only available on GAME DAYS.

  • Get the key from the front concession stand.
  • Drive the person needing assistance to the back field.
  • Return the cart and the key.

You CANNOT drive your own cart to the back fields. This is a park rule!
