    When are games and practices?

Each team is scheduled two Preseason Practices per week by the League scheduler before the start of the season.  We will not know what night your child's team practices until after the teams have been drafted.  However, coaches may schedule additional practices on any day of the week on a first come first serve basis.  In the Preseason, 5- and 6-year-old leagues will practice no more than twice per week. 4-year-old players will practice only once per week in the preseason on Saturday.

Once the season begins, you will have one weeknight game and one Saturday game. Most Divisions have a 10-game schedule. Weeknight games begin at 5:30 p.m.  Saturday game times begin at 8:30 a.m. See the OMYBS Rule Book for league specific information.  Wednesday nights and Sunday afternoons are used for make-up games.

What age group will my child play in?

Baseball Division Age is determined by the age of the child on April 30 of the upcoming Spring Season. Using the Chart below find the birth Month and follow it to the birth year.

The 4-year-old baseball division is open to players who will be four by July 1. Any participants with a later birthday should submit a Play Up request to be approved by the Baseball Commissioner.

**After registering on the website, a list of available divisions will be automatically generated based on the participant's birthday.**
